This privacy policy explains how LoftPDF (loftpdf.com) handles your data. In short: we collect almost nothing, because your files never leave your device.
How files are processed
Every PDF or image file you upload to LoftPDF is processed entirely in your browser's local memory, using pdf-lib, pdf.js, and a WebAssembly build of qpdf. Once processing is done, you download the result directly. Our servers never receive, store, or view the contents of any file you process.
Local storage
LoftPDF only uses your browser's localStorage to remember your light/dark theme preference. This contains no personal information and is never synced to any server.
Cookies and tracking
This site currently uses no tracking cookies and has no third-party analytics or advertising scripts. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and disclose it clearly on the site.
Third-party services
This static site is served by a third-party CDN/hosting provider, which may record basic access information such as IP address and user agent in standard web server logs for security and reliability purposes β unrelated to any file content.
